"There is no man living who isn’t capable of doing more than he thinks he can do."

Most of the limits we believe in aren’t real. They’re mental barriers, built from past failures, self-doubt, and the fear of stepping beyond what feels comfortable. I’ve seen men in prison who thought they had nothing left—until they were forced to tap into a strength they didn’t know they had.
Ford’s words remind us that our potential is rarely fully realized. We stop at what feels possible instead of pushing toward what’s actually within us. The truth is, we are capable of far more than we give ourselves credit for. The key is learning to trust that, even before we see the proof.

Think about something you’ve told yourself you can’t do. Now ask: What if that’s not true? Write down one step—however small—that you can take toward it today. Your limits are often just untested potential. |
